A few weeks ago, we took a road trip to San Francisco to exhibit at Renegade Craft Fair. The normally, 6 hour car drive turned into an extended 9 hour drive due to traffic and congestion as we approached the bay area.
It's always fun to explore the city by visiting new and favorite neighborhoods in the city. We thoroughly enjoy the diversity of people, places, and food available there. This time, we stayed in an area called SOMA - South of Market. It was our first time staying in an Airbnb rental. The 100+ year building had a lovely backyard and patio and during our stay we met visitors from Spain, France and Australia.
The next couple of days were long but productive with show set-up and exhibiting. The show is held at the Fort Mason Center near the Marina area of the city and there were foggy, yet beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.
Our short trip to San Francisco was a very busy - meeting new and current customers as well as catching up with fellow vendor friends. We are continually inspired by all of the talented makers and artists who exhibit at the Renegade Craft shows and enjoy being a part of this awesome creative community.
